Our story began in 1916 in Karachi, Pakistan, when Late Shri Ghasitaramji Bajaj founded a humble sweet-making business with a simple mission, to spread joy through the timeless tradition of Indian mithai.
After the partition in 1947, his son Shri Goverdhandas Bajaj left behind a flourishing business and started anew in Bombay (now Mumbai) with nothing but his skill and determination. With unwavering spirit, he laid the foundations of our first retail outlet in Bibijan Street, Mumbai.
From those modest beginnings, our legacy was nurtured by Late Mr. Prem Bajaj, son of Shri Goverdhandas Bajaj, who expanded the brand into multiple sweet shops, restaurants, and even a resort on the outskirts of Mumbai.
Today, the legacy continues with the fourth generation, led by Mr. Manav Prem Bajaj, a qualified B.Com and MBA professional, who brings modern innovation to traditional roots. The brand’s digital evolution and global e-commerce are spearheaded by Mrs. Rima Manav Bajaj, making our handcrafted sweets and gifts accessible around the world.
