Founded a humble sweet-making business in Karachi, Pakistan, with a simple mission: to spread joy through the timeless tradition of Indian mithai. His hands crafted recipes that would endure for over a century.
After Partition, his son left behind a flourishing business and started anew in Bombay (now Mumbai) with nothing but his skill and determination. With unwavering spirit, he laid the foundations of the first retail outlet on Bibijan Street, Mumbai.
Son of Shri Goverdhandas Bajaj, Prem Bajaj expanded the brand into multiple sweet shops, restaurants, and even a resort on the outskirts of Mumbai — cementing Ghasitaram as a beloved household name.
The fourth generation brings modern innovation to traditional roots. A qualified B.Com and MBA professional, Manav leads the brand's digital evolution, while Rima spearheads global e-commerce — making handcrafted sweets and gifts accessible around the world.
